ModernComms is a small, independent team that's spent two decades helping people and businesses get technology working for them, not against them.
Our story
Real experience, no middlemen
We've worked in IT for 20 years — across support, infrastructure, projects and communications. Over that time we saw the same thing again and again: people sold things they didn't need, by companies that were hard to get hold of.
ModernComms is our answer to that. We're a small, senior, independent team you can actually reach, that tells you straight and does the work properly. Small enough to be personal, experienced enough to be trusted — and genuinely obsessive about the details.
Today our lead focus is on what's changing fastest: making small businesses visible to AI assistants — the new way customers find who to call. And we still do everything we've always done well: independent IT consultancy, building and hosting AI-ready websites, and bringing homes to life with Home Assistant automation.
